Affiliates
The InnerNote affiliate programme, in plain words: what is paid, on what, how it is counted, and the rules.
If you write, record or talk about journaling, hypnotherapy or privacy and your readers would be glad of InnerNote, you can be paid for sending them here.
How it works
- You get a code of your own, such as SARAH, and a short link: innernote.ai/r/ and your code. The link says you sent them and shows your code. In the app, they enter it at "Who sent you?", on the first screen or in Settings.
- You are paid on subscriptions: in the app, through the App Store (and Google Play when InnerNote is there), or on this site.
- Your commission is a percentage of what InnerNote receives from each payment, after tax and the store's fee, as agreed with you before you start. It covers the first payment and every renewal while the subscription runs.
- Payment is monthly, on payments more than 14 days old, once the refund window has passed. A payment that is refunded is taken off.
What is recorded
- There is no tracking: no tracking code, no fingerprinting, no third-party attribution and no ads, on this site or in the app.
- Your code is the only thing recorded, against a pseudonymous id: the random id the subscription uses on the phone, or the account's. Never a name, an email address, a device or anything a person writes.
- The short link stores nothing by itself. It offers one button, "Remember that you sent me" with your name; only if it is tapped does this site keep your code in that browser for 30 days, so that signing in on this site later says who sent them.
- A code can be changed for seven days after it is first entered. After that it stays.
The rules
- No bidding on the InnerNote name, or on misspellings of it, in search advertising.
- No health claims. InnerNote is a journal and a set of hypnotherapy courses; it does not diagnose, treat or cure anything, and affiliate copy may not say or imply that it does. Say what it is, in your own words, and link to the course pages, which say what each course looks at.
- No pretending to be InnerNote: your pages carry your name, not ours.
- No coupons or price promises. The prices are on the pricing page and nowhere else.
